Before I start, let me say that my interests pertain to tackle manufactured prior to WW2. I collect antique Fishing Lures and Reels and their Boxes. I am also interested in all items pertaining to early Fishing History. Some of these items include Early Split Bamboo and Wood Rods, Glass Minnow Traps, Catalogs, Wooden Tackle Boxes, Minnow Buckets, Catalogs, Fish Decoys and much more. I will buy a single piece or an entire collection. I pay very fair prices, so if you have something to sell, please give me a try.
Please keep in mind that there are many things that contribute to the value of an antique fishing lure, so they are very hard to appraise without an accurate picture and description. Aside from rarity some other important factors are condition & color (yes, some colors are rarer than others). Boxes are also very important, but the same rule applies. Condition is very important. Some boxes are better than the lures, but not always. So, I can not stress the importance of accurate pictures enough. Please email me the pictures via my email link only, not to my phone.
